Here are some basics build an amazing wardrobe. Our goal should be to build an amazing wardrobe and one that stands the test of time. Let's start by saying that a high quality wardrobe includes the following:

• High quality basic pieces

• Basic Colors that will go with anything

• Well fitting pieces

• Pieces that you will love

Basic Pieces

• A well fitting black skirt

• A black blazer

• A nude blazer

• One or 2 white blouse - Can be a button down or nice blouse

• A pair wo well fitting jeans or jean skirt

• A pair of black trousers

• 4+ Camisoles

SHOES

Shoes & Handbags - If you can handle a heel, be sure to pick one that is not too high. Over time really high heels cause damage to your feet, knees, hips, and back

• Pair of nude shoes

• Pair of black shoes

• Pair of brown shoes

STYLE TIPS

Here are some basic wardrobe pieces that would go with anything and keep you looking amazing

Make sure you have one or two of these pieces in your wardrobe.

Sizing - A Soft fit is so much more flattering than clothes that are too tight.

Companion Colors - When it comes to what I call add on - This is where you can have some fun. After you have added your basic colors like: white, black, red, ivory, grey and blue , you can add colors to have fun with but maybe not too many. I enjoy colors like orange, fuchsia, magenta, yellow and bright blues.

Below are some pieces that are very buildable and a few add-ons in my favorite colors

This skirt is a twist on a pencil skirt - A nice pencil would work just a well. You don't have to buy Red Bottoms - But you can duplicate any of these looks on a budget.

JACKETS

I love the look a this Balmain blazer but not many of us can afford this price point but there are many brands like the Limited that offer similar styles at a fraction of this price point.

If you love bags, get your basics out of the way first then add on. I am guilty of buying lot's of bags but honestly I don't get to use and enjoy as many as I purchase so I need to go on a No-Buy!
